The chair has been designed especially keeping in mind the reducing availability of space and the increasing need to pause in life because of work pressure. As the day snatches away the energy from you, home is the place where you can relax and ponder on your thoughts and refresh yourself. But the space is only limited to carry out all the functions.

So the folding chair, keep it inside the house or in the balcony, it can fit anywhere and can provide you comfort and time with your own self.

The chair has been entirely made out of teak wood and metal joinery which helps the chair flat fold, along with the canvas which is attached to the chair with the help of wooden rods, and so can be changed and washed whenever one wants. 

The combination of dark polished wood and the dark blue canvas gives it a very warm and royal feel. Also, the canvas seat takes the shape of the body and lets it fall in like a hammock.

Several steps were taken in the development of the folding chair. The process began with the initial sketches to convert a lounge chair into a folding chair. Ideation led to design which was tested as mock ups and then a final full scale mock up before the construction of the final piece.
